I don’t go shopping often but I’m always up for equine retail therapy! Toni and I ventured to Jacksonville and after getting lost SEVERAL times, finally arrived at our destination: Horse and Kennel Warehouse.
I was there for one thing only – a new product from the UK for sweet itch, KILLITCH. According to the distribution site, Horse and Kennel carried it. Well…you know my luck…they didn’t know anything about it. After doing some research, they received an e-mail from the company YESTERDAY and will have it in within the month. Hmmm. After what we went through to get there, another trip didn’t seem likely.
So, we looked around the warehouse, literally like kids in a candy shop. Toni spoils Sugar and got her a new western saddle pad (purple, of course), an English girth (that come to find out is too small…of course!), something for her fungus, and other odds and ends to make them both happy.
Way too practical, I bought Kobi a new fly mask (to fit his super small head), my favorite de-tangler, and an allergy/skin shampoo and spray. I also got something for Sugar…
Kobi in his spiffy new fly mask
And Sugar’s gorgous new purple pad
And that’s how one has a great day with a great friend!
Despite your difficulty in finding the place, it looks like you had a pretty amazing shopping day. love Sugar’s new finery.

Good morning! Very funny, I some how never thought of shopping a s therapy! I sure will now! I usually hit the library, to view free art, and pick up a new read. I do hit the thrift shops once and a while. Now that I think of it I get plenty of therapy, I just need to make time for it! And I will, next week.I have a big wedding to do flowers for this Friday. Been busy this past weekend I was in Watertown (1 hour west Milwaukee), for Haley’s oldest graduate from Luther Prep, beautiful concert and graduation service. A reception after, then planted and transplanted fern and flowers the rest of the week-end. Last weekend it was Brad’s girl Marquette Colllege graduation, also a fantastic ceremony, Bill Cosby was the keynote speaker. Wel, I better stop carrying on, I have to catch up from yesterday, as we all had off for holiday. Bless you my dear, and have a great Tuesday! Love Aunt Bonnie
