Revised Writing Plan

Okay – I admit I’ve slacked off of my writing goals.  With that said, I’m getting back on the writing wagon…today!

Still trying to use the analytical side of brain for a purely creative process – there are only 13 weeks left until school gets out (can I hear a ‘WAHOO’) but I am way behind on the crypto-zoological series!  I figure if I can whip out 4 chapters a week from here on out – the first draft of all four books will be finished by the time summer vacation starts so I’ll have all summer to revise, revise, revise.

This means no more checking e-mail and Facebook in the mornings – I must write!  This means no more stick weaving or quilting until I meet my weekly quota.  This also means I have to cancel on outings and gatherings (but not riding) until I get my butt in the chair and keep it there.

Wish me luck and forgive me if you don’t see me until June!  These stories must be told!

About Heather Hamel

Growing up with horses is a little girls dream come true. Heather’s dream in life was to be a horse trainer - how dreams change - sort of! She moved to the wonderfully historic town of St. Augustine, Florida and was a historic tour guide and a ghost story teller while putting herself through college to become a special education teacher. After graduating, she felt the pull of horses in her life again. That's when she met Kobi! She learned quickly that when you own horses you become a part time vet, part time nutritionist, and full time equestrian. She wouldn't change a thing! In addition to being completely obsessed with her herd, she still teaches and tutors students with learning disabilities, and more specifically, dyslexia.
