I wanted to follow-up on my blog last week (see Taking My Life In My Own Hands).
Yesterday’s ride on Kobi was perfection! I went out expecting a tough ride – between tutoring late, spending all day Friday antique shopping in Mt. Dora, I haven’t spent any time with my boy since Valentine’s Day. Typically when Kobi feels ignored, my first ride out is a punishment…literally. He will do anything in his power, short of dumping me, to show me how unhappy he is.
Not this time. He willing did everything I asked of him. Our walk/canter transitions were something out of a movie. He was light in my hands and solid underneath me – the perfect partner.
Rides like yesterday is why I do it – experiencing perfection!
